For 65 years, Hilltop Kiwanis has been a social assistant to the Hilltop by helping out in places that Government cannot help. The members of Hilltop Kiwanis are people with large hearts dedicated to assisting the children of the community.
Meeting each week on Thursday for lunch, speakers present to the membership the needs of the day. The club itself functions seven days a week through committees. The club focuses its attention on students from elementary school through high school and continues to assist after high school by providing scholarships so that students have the opportunity to attend a higher learning facility of their choosing.
Here you will find friendly people with a shared interest. You will see them working in the city at the Hilltop Bean Dinner, and in the country raising funds at the Farm Science Review to allow them to fund various programs. The largest fund raiser of the year is our annual newspaper sale the first Thursday of December. This traditional newspaper tells the story of Hilltop Kiwanis' accomplishments during the previous year. The advertisements reflect a directory of all of the professional businesses and organizations that support what we do in the community.
